Greenbridge based retailer WHSmith have donated 14,000 notepads and pens to the new Nightingale Hospital in London this week.
A spokesperson saying ‘We sincerely hope our donation goes some way to support the outstanding job these frontline NHS staff are doing at this time and we want to thank them for their amazing efforts and commitment.’
This news comes just days after WHSmith announced a collaboration with supermarket giant Sainsbury’s to stock more essential grocery items such as toilet roll and pasta in their hospital stores with a 20% discount for NHS staff.
