Swindon and Wiltshire Pride will be holding their major fundraising event this Saturday 11thAugust to mark what would have been the Annual Pride event.
The event will be Swindon & Wiltshire Prides biggest fundraiser of 2018 and is raising funds for Swindon & Wiltshire Pride 2019.
The fundraiser Is taking place at the Regent Hotel, Victoria Rd, SN1 3BU on the 11thof August. Doors open at 1:30pm with a line-up of acts throughout the day. With entry at just £3 per head and under 18’s allowed up until 9pm.
Swindon & Wiltshire Pride are pleased to announce Blind Lemon, a 5 piece covers band playing a wide range of rock, blues, funk and the odd pop song with a twist will be headlining the event with a great reputation and regular followers in and around the Swindon music scene we are very pleased to have them headlining.
The event will be compered by Swindon’s very own Miss Bridy and the Boy Jase and those attending can show off their own vocal talents in the Karaoke competition, enjoy the various stalls and the over 18s can try their luck in our fantastic BIG booze raffle.
Kristian Wheeler, the Pride Chair said, “Miss Bridy’s Angels are working their little fingers to the bone to bring this event together for the LGBT community of Swindon and Wiltshire and their family and friends. They work non-stop all year round to raise the much needed funds for Swindon & Wiltshire Pride 2019. The event this Saturday is going to be a fun filled event and is not one to be missed”
Monies raised from the fundraising events held will go towards the pride event in 2019 and ongoing fundraiser events at the Regent Hotel on Victoria Hill will help raise the funds for our 2019 event.
