Residents in two areas of Swindon and Cricklade woke up £1,000 richer this morning, as their postcodes were announced as winners in the People’s Postcode Lottery.
The winning postcodes are SN2 2HE in Swindon and SN6 6AP in Cricklade.

The People’s Postcode Lottery is a subscription-based lottery that helps raise vital funds for charities while giving players the chance to win cash prizes. Every day, prizes are awarded to residents in different postcodes across the UK, with a £1,000 prize available for 20 postcodes daily, and larger jackpots of up to £30,000.
For just £12 a month, players sign up with their postcode and are automatically entered into the draw, with a portion of each ticket sale—at least 33%—going towards charity. Since its launch in 2005, the lottery has raised more than £950 million for over 9,000 good causes across the country.
