Tommy Hatto, an award-winning well-being coach, motivational speaker, actor, model, and founder of THO – a well-being coaching and consultancy company, organised a special well-being breakfast for local business owners in Swindon.
The event aimed to highlight the significance of mental health, coinciding with Mental Health Awareness Week (15th-21st May).
Taking place at The Workshed in Swindon, the gathering was a collaboration between Tommy Hatto and The Foundry, a Swindon-based business accelerator program.
More than 50 local business owners attended the event, including Councillor Abdul Amin, the Mayor of Swindon, who delivered a brief speech emphasizing the importance of prioritising mental well-being.
Tommy, who has appeared in movies such as Thor 2 and The Last Full Measure said of the event, “The whole reason for putting this breakfast on was driven by purpose.
“To bring local business and community owners together to recognise the importance of mental health. As a business owner, it’s a lonely path to walk, and you can find yourself working all hours day and night to get your dream off the ground.
He continued, “We put the breakfast on bright and early, to allow everyone to come and grab some breakfast all before going to do their day-to-day 9 to 5. They could wear what they wanted, and it didn’t take much time out of their usual working day.”
