Popular jacket potato brand SpudBros is opening its first-ever outlet store in Swindon next week, with the first 100 customers in line able to claim a free spud.
The new SpudBros Express will officially open at Frasers Plus Designer Outlet Swindon on Tuesday 22 September, bringing the social media-friendly food brand to the town for the first time.
To mark the opening, the first 100 customers through the doors from 12pm will receive a free spud. The store will remain open until 8pm on opening day.
SpudBros has built a substantial following online for its loaded jacket potatoes and is now expanding across the UK through high streets, city centres, roadside locations and retail destinations.
The Swindon branch will serve some of the brand’s most popular dishes, including the Tram Classic, topped with garlic butter, SpudBros’ three-cheese mix, beans, crispy onions and Tram Sauce.
The Spudfather comes with chilli con carne, tuna coleslaw and bolognese, while customers can also create their own loaded potato.
The new outlet is being opened in partnership with Taster and franchisee Ketch & Co.
SpudBros co-founder Jacob Nelson said Frasers Plus Designer Outlet Swindon was chosen for its regional catchment and established retail offer.
“Opening our first outlet location at Frasers Plus Designer Outlet Swindon is an exciting milestone for the business as we continue to expand into new locations across the UK,” he said.
“We’re looking forward to introducing the SpudBros experience to visitors.”
Ketch & Co co-founder Simon Hedaux said the business was looking forward to bringing the brand to Swindon.

The new SpudBros Express is at Frasers Plus Designer Outlet Swindon, Kemble Drive, Swindon, SN2 2DY.
Opening hours will be:
- Monday to Thursday: 11am–8pm
- Friday and Saturday: 11am–9pm
- Sunday: 11am–6pm
The Swindon opening is the first SpudBros outlet location and forms part of the brand’s wider expansion across the UK.
Frasers Plus Designer Outlet Swindon is home to more than 90 designer and high-street brands and attracts shoppers from across the region.
