Santa Claus is Coming Back to Swindon for Christmas at The Brunel

Santa Claus is on his way back to Swindon this festive season, bringing plenty of Christmas cheer to The Brunel Shopping Centre, where his much-loved grotto will return from Saturday 15 November until Christmas Eve.

This year, prices have been frozen at last year’s rates, and families can now pre-book visits online to skip queues and spend more time enjoying their Christmas shopping.

For the first time, The Brunel will also be offering special ‘quiet sessions’ during the first 30 minutes of each Sunday opening. These sessions are designed for children who prefer a calmer, less crowded experience — and must be booked in advance.

Your Holiday Starts Now

Santa’s Grotto, run by a team of highly trained elves, will be located on the ground floor opposite Boots. Every child who visits will receive a small gift and have the chance to share their Christmas wishes directly with Santa. A special post box near the grotto will also allow little ones to send their letters straight to the North Pole.

Laura Hepple, Centre Manager at The Brunel, said:

“We’re delighted to be welcoming Santa back for another magical Christmas. We know every penny helps, so we’ve kept the price the same as last year. The new pre-booking system means shorter queues, and our quiet sessions ensure every family can enjoy the experience in their own way.”

Families can book up to four children per time slot, with tickets priced at £4.50 per child (plus a £1 admin fee per booking). Walk-ins will still be welcome, though pre-booking is recommended to avoid long waits.
