A Salisbury man has been charged with causing grievous bodily harm to one of our officers following an altercation at a park in the city.
Mark Archibald, aged 38, of no fixed address has been charged with causing GBH to a police officer, battery of a member of the public and assault on another police officer.
He is due to appear at Bristol Magistrates this morning – 4th June.
It follows an incident on Tuesday evening where a man was assaulted in Fisherton Street and an officer was assaulted in Elizabeth Gardens.
