Swimmers of all ages are being invited to take the plunge for a good cause as the annual Rotary Club of Swindon North & Thamesdown Charity Swimathon returns on Sunday 11th May 2025.
This well-loved community event which kicks off at 10:00am at Highworth Recreation Centre provides a ready-made platform for individuals and teams to support causes close to their hearts. Now is the perfect time to gather a team and start collecting sponsorships from family and friends.
Getting involved couldn’t be easier. The Swimathon page on the Rotary Club’s website (www.rotaryswindonnorth.org.uk) has everything needed to get started, including entry forms, sponsorship details, and helpful fundraising tips. There’s no entry fee, and sponsorships can be managed online for added convenience. Entries can be submitted online or by post.
The 2024 Swimathon raised an impressive £5,952 for local charities, and organisers are determined to surpass that total this year.
