Swindon residents are facing water supply issues following a burst water main in County Road this morning with drivers being rerouted around the affected area.
The burst, affecting a 16-inch water main, has resulted in significant disruption in various parts of Swindon. Thames Water is working to restore supplies across the area whilst the fire service work to clear the surface water.
In the meantime, Thames Water is providing bottled water to those in need to ensure their immediate requirements are met.
The utility company is working tirelessly to rectify the situation, and updates will be provided as progress is made. Residents are advised to stay informed through official channels and to contact Thames Water directly for any urgent concerns.
Roads around County Road and Manchester Road are currently closed and drivers are asked to avoid the area.
