The works on the M4 junction 16 remodelling continue to make good progress, although next week motorists will be faced with a road closure.
Commencing Monday 10th July the works may start to impact motorists journey time as work increases on the southern half of the roundabout.
Monday 10th July will see a one night closure of the B4005 Hay Lane from Spittleborough Roundabout to the Junction with Wharf Road between 8pm and 6am
This closure will enable the contractor to complete the widening of Hay Lane.
During the closure there will be a diversion in place, with access maintained for residents and businesses in the closed section.
August will see a no right turn imposed from Great Western Way into Lydiard Fields – more details to follow.
