InSwindon want to say a big thank you to the hundreds of families that came along to the Urban Beach Experience yesterday, the day was blessed with blue skies and sunshine throughout the day and a great day was had by all.
The Mayor of Swindon, Junab Ali, joined in with the dancing, judged the sandcastle competition and enjoyed spending time chatting to parents and visiting local businesses.
Unfortunately today is not as lucky with the weather, the forecast is set for heavy showers all day so unfortuantely the planned activities will be suspended for today.
If there are any prolonged breaks in the rain the protected beach will be reopened.
With sunny, warmer conditions returning on Monday through to Wednesday, the full schedule of actiivies will resume from 10.00am each day.
