Rail services throughout the UK will be reduced by 80 per cent on Tuesday, Thursday and Saturday, as the Rail, Maritime and Transport Workers Union (RMT) planning Britain’s biggest rail strikes for three decades.
The planned strike action which will see up to 50,000 workers across Network Rail walk out on Tuesday and 40,000 on Thursday and Saturday, means rail services are expected to be severely affected from 21st to 25th June, and a significantly reduced temporary timetable will be in place.
GWR are advising passengers to only travel by rail if necessary.

If you do travel, there will be severe disruption and you’re advised to plan ahead. Services will start later and finish earlier throughout the strike period.
On strike days, an extremely limited service will operate between 07:30 and 18:30. On non-strike days, no services will run before 07:00.
