Swindon Designer Outlet is pulling out all the stops this May half-term, turning retail therapy into a full-on family affair with a week of free activities, surprise entertainment, and late-night shopping deals that promise something for everyone.
Running from Friday 24th May to Saturday 1st June, the outlet will be bursting with things to do, see and save. Expect everything from a duck-themed treasure trail and a brand-new children’s play area, to live magic and big-name bargains across your favourite stores.
Kicking off the fun is the return of the much-loved Duck Trail. Kids can follow clues to locate eight hidden ducks around the centre – and those who find them all can waddle their way to Guest Services to claim a special reward. It’s completely free to take part, making it a great option for families on a budget.
Meanwhile, the new play area gives younger visitors a chance to burn off some energy, and the introduction of kiddy cars adds another layer of excitement for little adventurers.
Parents aren’t left out either. On Wednesday 29th and Thursday 30th May, the centre’s Late Night Shopping event sees stores open from 10am to 10pm, with an additional 20% off outlet prices across a huge range of brands – including Calvin Klein, Puma, Castore, Dune, Swarovski and many more. Some shops will even be offering up to 30% off.
Adding a touch of sparkle to the evenings, a magician will be performing live on Friday 30th May from 4pm to 8pm, while the outlet’s concierge team will be spreading joy, surprises and giveaways between 3pm and 8pm.
