Captured on camera by keeper Ian Turner and videographer Tom Anders, the lions’ antics are a delightful spectacle. The footage, shared just in time for England’s opening match against Serbia, has captivated fans and staff alike.

Turner and the rest of the Longleat team are cheering on England’s striker Harry Kane and his teammates, hoping for a victorious start to the tournament.

Longleat’s connection to football history runs deep. The safari park, which opened in 1966, the same year England clinched the World Cup, welcomed the World Cup referees, including Gottfried Dienst, the referee for the famous final where England triumphed over West Germany 4-2.

This delightful nod to the beautiful game by Longleat’s lions is sure to bring a smile to the faces of football fans as they gear up for an exciting UEFA Euro 2024.
