Pride Month 2025 will take on a fresh and vibrant soundscape this June as a unique digital event brings together some of the country’s most exciting young voices. ‘Loud and Proud’, an audio experience created to platform LGBTQ+ youth talent, promises to be a powerful celebration of identity, creativity, and community.
Scheduled for Wednesday 18th and Thursday 19th June at 7pm, this online showcase has gathered an inspiring collection of artists aged 15 to 25. Following a nationwide call for submissions, fourteen talented individuals have been selected to share their original work. Audiences can expect an eclectic mix of music, songs, personal stories, spoken word pieces, and dramatic scenes, all delivered through an immersive audio format.
Running for approximately 40 minutes, the showcase is designed to be easily accessible. The same content will be broadcast on both evenings, ensuring that audiences can tune in at a time that suits them.
This celebration not only highlights the diversity and talent within the LGBTQ+ youth community but also offers a space where these young voices can be heard and appreciated. As with all good storytelling, the power lies in the authenticity of the voices sharing their experiences, and ‘Loud and Proud’ promises to deliver just that.
Participation is entirely free of charge. Those wishing to join the broadcast can secure their ticket and access link (one per device) by visiting the Pitlochry Festival Theatre website.
