After Met Office warnings for snow overnight proved correct there appears to be some disruption to the roads, and also the supply of the water and electricity this morning.
A number of homes in the Blunsdon area are reporting issues with their water supply this morning which Thames Water are currently investigating.
This comes after 3,400 throughout Wiltshire were left without power including between 5-700 in Swindon.
Western Power Distribution who also have homes affected in the Midlands and Gloucestershire have confirmed all of the issues are snow-related.
Staff who were on standby for the poor weather have been called in are working to reconnect homes.
The M4 is seeing slower traffic than normal due to the icy conditions.
