*Update* it is understood the lights are now working again.
Police are this morning asking motorists to take extra care whilst using Thamesdown Drive.
Due to a Power Failure, traffic lights the full length of Thamesdown Drive are out.
Swindon Borough Council and the Electricity Board have been informed.
The lights are not expected to be working until after the morning rush-hour.
Police are asking all drivers using that road drive to the conditions, speed limit and be aware of braking distances.
Please be aware of drivers needing to enter Thamesdown Drive and be courteous to other road users as this road is very busy during rush hour.
