Police Appeal for Witnesses After Indecent Exposure Incident in GWR Park

Police are appealing for witnesses following a disturbing incident of indecent exposure that took place in GWR Park on Monday, 12th August.

The incident, which occurred around 4:15 PM, involved a man exposing himself to a woman in broad daylight, leaving her shaken and distressed.

The suspect has been described as wearing brown trousers paired with a blue zip-up jacket, and he also had noticeable facial hair. A man in his 40s was arrested shortly after the incident but has since been released on bail while further investigations continue.

PC Holly Moffat, who is leading the investigation, emphasised the steps being taken to reassure the public. “We are carrying out regular high-visibility patrols to try to provide reassurance to the local community. If anyone has concerns, then please stop those officers on patrol, and they will be happy to help,” she said. “While the woman was not physically harmed by this incident, understandably, it left her upset, and we will make sure she has access to support services.”
