Officers are appealing for witnesses or dash cam footage following a collision in Braydon yesterday, 11th May.
The incident happened on the B4696 Braydon Road just before 2pm.
An unknown vehicle is believed to have shed its load of stones on the road which resulted in a driver losing control of their vehicle – a Hyundai I10 – and overturning into a ditch.
The driver, a woman in her 40s, was fortunately not seriously injured but was taken to the Great Western Hospital as a precaution.
The road had to be closed for approximately two hours so the carriageway could be safely cleared of stones.

‘If you can help, call 101 and quote crime reference number 54220048500.’
