23 and 24-year-olds are now able to book their coronavirus vaccine appointment on the NHS website, or by calling 119, as the Government attempts to immunise as many people as possible in the next four weeks.
Over-23s, or those who turn 23 before 1st July 2021. will be asked to book both appointments at the same time, with the second dose administered eight to 12 weeks after the first.
Yesterday evening it was confirmed that all UK adults would be invited for their first dose of the vaccine by 19th July with all those aged over 50 and the clinically extremely vulnerable being offered their second doses by the same date.
