Paul Weller has announced dates as part of Forest Live 2023, the summer concert series presented by Forestry England.
Paul Weller has enjoyed an incredible 50 years making music. From his era-defining breakthrough with The Jam, reinvention via The Style Council, and a formidable career as a solo artist, Paul has scored a string of Number 1 albums and singles.
Constantly creating forward-thinking music, the ever-changing Weller has connected with fans across the generations and is regarded as a cultural icon of British music. A Forest Live stalwart, Paul has made a record-breaking 25 appearances as part of the concert series since his debut in 2004, the most by any artist and all to sold-out crowds.
Paul has announced that Far From Saints will be joining him as a very special guest for his Forest Live gigs in June including Westonbirt Arboretum. Far From Saints is a new band with Kelly Jones of Stereophonics along with Patty Lynn and Dwight Baker of US band The Wind And The Wave.

Far From Saints have recently released lead single ‘Let’s Turn This Back Around’ which encapsulates the irresistible magnetism that comes when two evocative voices are drawn together. Far From Saints will release their eponymous debut album this summer. Seb Lowe, upcoming Oldham singer-songwriter is also confirmed as opening act for the bill.
Commenting on the booking Paul Weller said, “Really looking forward to seeing my mate Kelly’s new project live at the forest shows. Can’t wait!”
Kelly Jones last appeared as part of Forest Live with his band Stereophonics performing two dates in 2019.
Forest Live is a major outdoor live music series that introduces forests to new audiences in unique, natural woodland arenas around the country. Over 2 million people have attended a Forest Live gig in the last twenty-two years, enjoying great music and supporting the nation’s forests when buying a ticket.
Going to a concert helps Forestry England create beautiful places for people to enjoy, run important conservation projects and keep growing trees. Last year they planted some 6.8 million trees, caring for the nation’s 1,500 woods and forests sustainably and welcoming 363 million visits annually.
Commenting on the dates, Paul Weller said, “I am very happy to be playing the Forest Live gigs again as they are always such great shows with such a great audience! See you there.”
