The Prospect Paddle offers a unique opportunity for individuals and teams to have a fantastic day of fun and adventure on the water, all while raising money for this wonderful charity. Participants will embark on an 11-kilometer paddle down the River Thames, commencing at the Red Lion in Castle Easton and concluding at the scenic riverside in Lechlade.

Sabrina, who took part in last year’s Prospect Paddle, shared her experience, saying, “Participating in the inaugural Prospect Paddle last year was a truly lovely experience. Having recently lost my mother-in-law to pancreatic cancer, the hospice provided immense support to our family. I felt a strong desire to give something back to them.

“On the day of the event, the volunteers and fellow participants were incredibly friendly and supportive. Navigating a new part of the Thames was both thrilling and enjoyable. The event was exceptionally well-organised, and the sense of community was heartwarming. I am eagerly looking forward to being part of it again this year and raising crucial funds for such a worthwhile cause.”

Registration for the event is now open, with a fee of £20 per person. Participants are encouraged to set a fundraising target and reach out to friends, family, and colleagues to sponsor their efforts.

Every single penny raised will contribute to providing outstanding care to individuals with terminal illnesses and offering support to their families.
