More than 200 Covid-19 patients have been discharged after treatment by the Great Western Hospital.
A spokesperson for the Great Western NHS Trust confirmed: ‘Great Western Hospital has successfully treated and discharged 217 patients who tested positive for coronavirus and a further 12 patients have recovered but remain in hospital.’
It has also been confirmed that there are just 10 patients left at the hospital who are being treated for either confirmed or suspected Covid-19 symptoms.
The number of people who have so far died who tested positive for the disease at the hospital remains at 121 after no new deaths were recorded in the latest NHS statistics.
