“Noremarsh is a literary school at its very core. Inspirational leadership, teachers who value quality literature, and a headteacher whose passion for children’s books inspires the whole community have created an environment where books enrich every aspect of learning.”

At Noremarsh, books are not confined to English lessons. They are used to build empathy, spark curiosity, and celebrate diversity across the school. Pupils are deeply engaged with fiction and non-fiction alike, while the school library serves as a lively hub for reading and discussion.

The school also regularly connects with authors and illustrators, giving pupils the chance to celebrate their learning and deepen their love of literature.

This recognition places Noremarsh among a select group of schools nationwide that champion creativity and inclusivity through reading, cementing its reputation as a leader in literacy education.
