New Regional Director Set to Lead Inco Contracts’ Expansion into Swindon

Inco Contracts, one of the UK’s fastest-growing principal contractors, is making a significant push into Swindon following the high-profile appointment of Adam Bidhendy as Regional Director for the South West.

With existing offices in the North West, South East, and West Midlands, Inco Contracts is now set to establish a strong presence in Swindon, Plymouth, Exeter, Bristol, and Bath. Adam Bidhendy, an experienced Chartered Construction Manager, will spearhead this expansion by building a dedicated team and supply chain to serve local education, commercial, healthcare, and industrial clients.

Adam Bidhendy, whose previous experience includes roles at Kier Group, Bridgeport 360, and Lancer Scott, commented on his new position: “There is so much potential in this region, and we are already starting to see that with £3m of dilapidation works tendered for and formal instructions set to be agreed on industrial refurbishment schemes in Swindon. This is just the tip of the iceberg. We want to take the DNA of Inco that has worked so well across other parts of the UK and bring it to Swindon and the South West. Our first step is establishing our own dedicated office, then building a team of Site Managers, Contract Managers, and admin staff, while also forging a local supply chain that shares our values.”

Bidhendy is optimistic about the prospects: “I firmly believe this region could be completing projects worth in excess of £8m in our first twelve months. My 15 years’ experience and contacts in this area will hopefully facilitate that.”

Inco Contracts, recently named Company of the Year, specialises in industrial and commercial refurbishment projects across the UK, completing hundreds of assignments annually. Their services include industrial roof and cladding, dilapidation schemes, building services, M&E installations, and soft strip-outs, alongside heritage and conservation work.

Sam Norton, Operations Director, expressed his support for the expansion: “We’re on course for our best-ever year, with turnover set to hit £40m – a £4m increase from last year. Swindon and the South West is a natural progression and an area where we believe we can add value. Adam Bidhendy’s appointment is a significant coup, bringing extensive construction experience and a proven track record of delivering high-profile schemes in this region. He will also play a key role in attracting top talent to work for Inco, including recruiting experienced professionals and investing in apprentices and young graduates passionate about a career in our sector.”

Adam concluded: “This is an exciting opportunity, and one I’m already relishing. We’ll be deciding on a location for the office in the next few weeks, and then our own internal fitout will be full speed ahead.”
