National Trust to start phased reopening of gardens and parklands

Swindon based, the National Trust is set to start reopening some of its gardens and parklands from next week with reduced capacity and a new booking system.

For a full list of the locations that will be open, which include Lacock, please visit here.

All visitors, including members must book a ticket in advance of their visit.

Your Holiday Starts Now

When you book your visit, you’ll need to choose a 30-minute arrival time for the day you want to visit.

Please book one ticket per person, except for children aged 5 or under as they don’t need a ticket. New booking time-slots are released on a Friday for visits the following week.

Due to limited spaces, visitors are asked to only book once a week to allow others a chance to visit.

Membership director Tom North said “From tomorrow you’ll be able to find out what’s opening near you and book a visit. Your visit to us may be different from usual, because there are a few things we need everyone to do to help us keep places open safely,”

“To open these gardens and parklands safely, we’ve had to reduce the number of people we can welcome at one time, so you’ll need to book in advance. New booking time slots will become available on Fridays for visits the following week.”
