Mums are great! They love us, grow us and nurture us, are here for us all hours of the day, come rain or shine!
So the team at Forestry England’s Westonbirt, The National Arboretum thought they’d say ‘thank you’ to mums and all they do for us with a special Mother’s Day offer on Sunday 22 March. When you bring your mum for a day out to the arboretum on Mother’s Day, Westonbirt will welcome her in for free; of course as long as she is accompanied by a responsible child (of any age)!
So head to the arboretum and spend some quality time with your mum in the great outdoors! With carpets of wildflowers, trees full of blossom and flowering magnolias, rhododendrons and azaleas around every corner, you can be sure she’ll have a blooming marvellous Mother’s Day!
Experience trees on a whole new level by setting out on the STIHL Treetop Walkway, use all five senses to explore the trees along the spring trail, and for those accompanied by younger visitors head out into the deep dark wood along the new Gruffalo Spotter’s Trail…
