More than 50,000 people aged 80 and above in the South West of England have received their second dose of the coronavirus vaccine.
Figures published by NHS England show 50,224 patients in the oldest age bracket have been administered both jabs in the South West region.
A further 184,884 over-80s have received at least one dose of either the Pfizer/BioNTech or Oxford-AstraZeneca vaccines in the week leading up to 10 January.
In total across the UK 374,103 over 80’s have received both doses of the Covid-19 vaccine.
