More than 120 million COVID-19 jabs have now been delivered by the NHS

NHS England has administered more than 120 million doses of the COVID-19 vaccine since the mass vaccination programme first started.

The latest figures show that 120,090,474 vaccinations have been administered throughout England including first, second and third doses, as well as the first booster and the spring booster for the most vulnerable in our communities including care home residents, over 75s and people who are immunocompromised.

Thanking NHS staff and the community, Steve Russell, NHS National Director for Vaccinations said: “Our Covid-19 jab offer is evergreen and it is fantastic that the NHS has now delivered 120 million jabs – including first, second, third and booster doses – and now spring boosters too.

“I am incredibly proud of the phenomenal NHS vaccination programme, and want to thank all NHS staff and volunteers who have helped make this life-saving programme happen.

“The vaccine continues to be our best protection against serious illness from Covid, so I encourage anybody who is yet to come in for a top-up or who hasn’t yet been vaccinated at all, to come forward and get the best protection on offer against Covid-19”.
