A mobile testing unit will be based at Swindon’s County Ground County Ground with testing starting as early as this Thursday.
The site will provide a testing capacity of up to 300 tests per day for eligible health and social care staff, other front line workers and those aged over 65 that have symptoms of Covid-19.
Those eligible for testing will be able to book to attend for ‘drive through’ testing via the national testing programme portal.
As a local testing site, the site will be operational between 14th and 17th May to start with testing being undertaken by the MOD.
Swindon Borough Council officers will be in attendance for the duration of the testing to minimise any potential disruption in the area.
