May’s double bank holiday delight calls for a little strategic holiday planning. By merely booking Tuesday to Friday following the bank holiday, you gift yourself an entire week off, while using just four holiday days.
Summer Serenity: Tuesday, August 27th – Friday, August 30th
Employ the same trick as May – reserve Tuesday through Friday, accompanied by the summer bank holiday, to fashion a blissful week away.
December Delight: Monday, December 23rd, 24th, 27th, 30th, & 31st, and January 2nd & 3rd, 2025
If you are in a position to book off the early 2025 dates then get in there quickly! By getting to these dates before your colleagues, you’ll gift yourself a full 16 days away from the office. Your festive break would see you leaving the office on Friday, December 20th, returning on January 6th, 2025.
Of course, this only works if you don’t usually work bank holidays or weekends!
