Swindon Borough Council have now begun work to remove the long traffic island approaching the roundabout on Tewkesbury Way. Lane closures will be in place with two-way traffic being maintained.
During the work, they unexpectedly discovered an unmarked cable which needs further investigating. Due to this, they have warned that they may need to reschedule the planned overnight resurfacing.
