A Man in his 20s was taken to Great Western Hospital to be treated for knife wounds after an assault in Cavendish Square area of Swindon last night.
The serious assault is thought to have taken place at around 11.30pm last night.
The victim had to be treated in hospital for injuries from a blade which were serious but are not thought to be life changing.
Acting Detective Sergeant Chris Hughes said: “Although this took place quite late at night, it’s possible that the incident was witnessed or caught on dash cam – any information, no matter how insignificant seeming, can help.
“Please call us if you know anything.”
