Detectives investigating a serious road traffic collision in Swindon have questioned a 47-year-old man after a woman was struck by a car on Dorcan Way in the early hours of Saturday, November 8.
The man has since been released under investigation while enquiries continue.
The injured pedestrian, a 40-year-old woman, remains in serious but stable condition in hospital.
Wiltshire Police’s Serious Collision Investigation Team (SCIT) continues to appeal for information. Officers are urging anyone who was in the Dorcan Way area between 4am and 6am on Saturday morning to come forward.
