A 24-year-old man has been charged with grievous bodily harm with intent and possession of a bladed article in a public place after an incident in Spring Gardens at the weekend.
Timothy Ryan, of no fixed abode, was remanded in custody and is due to appear at Swindon Magistrates’ Court today.
The charge relates to an incident that took on Sunday (21/01) in which a man in his 50s was struck with a blade.
The victim has since been treated for his injuries and has been discharged from the hospital.
