A man is due to appear in court this morning charged with three counts of burglary.
Paul Leslie Jones, 45, of Sheppard Street, Swindon, was arrested following reports of a number of burglaries in the town over the weekend.
He has been charged with three counts of dwelling burglary and one count of attempted burglary.
He has been remanded in custody and is due to appear at Swindon Magistrates Court this morning.
Detective Constable Jared Yalden, of the Swindon Fortitude team, said: “We take reports of burglaries very seriously and know the upset and distress this type of offence can cause for the victims.
“Our whole team has worked tirelessly over the last few days to bring about these charges for what can be a difficult crime to investigate.”
