A man has been charged following a high-value burglary at a property in Swindon earlier this year.
Quang Tung Dang, aged 26, of Ellenborough Road in Bexley, was charged with burglary and possession of criminal property. He was remanded in custody and was due to appear before Swindon Magistrates’ Court on Wednesday, 5th June.
The charges are linked to a break-in which took place on Exeter Street, Swindon, on 16th January. During the incident, a number of high-end clothing items and accessories were reported stolen.
As part of the ongoing investigation, Dang was arrested on Tuesday, 4th June. At the time of his arrest, officers recovered £11,900 in cash, which is now being treated as criminal property.
This case is part of continued efforts by local police to disrupt organised criminal activity in the town and safeguard Swindon’s communities from the impact of acquisitive crime.
