33-year-old David Chambers has been charged for administering a fake Covid-19 vaccine into the arm of a London pensioner then charging her £160.
After administering the fake jab on 30th December he returned less than a week later to ask for more money, it is this visit that police were able to find a local CCTV picture to set out an appeal.
On the first visit it is reported that he pressed a ‘dart like’ implement onto the woman’s wrist to pretend it was a vaccination.
He is then alleged to have returned on January 4 to ask for another £100 from the woman.
He has been charged with two counts of fraud by false representation, assault by beating, and two counts of breaking London tier four restrictions on travel.
