A man has appeared in court charged in connection with the incident in Ridge Green, Swindon, last week.
Howard Jones, 59, of Shrivenham Road, has been charged with the following:
• Possession of a firearm or imitation firearm whilst committing or being arrested for a schedule 1 offence
• Robbery
• ABH
• Assault on an emergency worker
• Breach of bail
The charges relate to an incident in the town last Tuesday, 16th June.
He appeared at Swindon Magistrates Court this morning and was remanded in custody ahead of his next appearance on 24th July.
