Wiltshire Police have confirmed that both carriageways of the M4 between junction 15 for Swindon and 16 for Royal Wootton Bassett remain closed this morning following yesterday evening’s collision.
The eastbound carriageway was initially closed around 7pm yesterday evening before an update from the police saw the westbound carriageway also closed.
National Highways website states: “Emergency services including Wiltshire Police are in attendance. National Highways Traffic Officers are also on scene assisting with traffic management.
“Investigations by Police are ongoing this morning and the road is expected to remain closed until mid morning.”
