Legendary singer, actress and TV personality Lulu is coming to Swindon as part of a UK tour to celebrate the ‘near’ anniversary of her top 10 hit, Shout.
Lulu will be appearing at the Wyvern Theatre as part of the The For the Record tour on Thursday July 1st 2023, with tickets going on sale this Friday, July 1st at 10am.
As well as her live performance, the show will feature stories and clips from across her 60-year career.
Lulu started her career in 1964 when Shout made it into the Top 10 before going on to win the Eurovision Song Contest for the UK in 1969 with ‘Boom Bang-a-Bang’ and sang then in 1974 singing the them to James Bond film ‘The Man with the Golden Gun’.
She also enjoyed a 90s career renaissance teaming up with Take That in 1993 with ‘Relight my Fire’.
Lulu said: “I’m excited to be sharing my story and my music with my first tour in four years.
“It’s been an incredible story and I’m looking forward to telling that in For The Record.
“This is a completely different show to anything I’ve ever done before.”
Lulu – For The Record will be at Wyvern Theatre, Swindon on Thursday 18th May 2023.
