A lucky lottery player who bought a ticket in the Stroud area of Gloucestershire is sitting on a life-changing fortune without even realising it.
The National Lottery has confirmed that a ticket, purchased for the Set For Life draw-based game, has matched the winning numbers, entitling the holder to a staggering prize of £10,000 per month for the next 30 years, a total of £3.6million! However, the winner has yet to come forward to claim their life-altering windfall.
The winning ticket matched the five main numbers – 10, 32, 36, 39, 43 – and the Life Ball number two in the draw that took place on May 18th, 2023.
The National Lottery is now urging the ticket-holder to come forward and claim their prize before the deadline of November 14th, 2023.
Anyone who believes they are the lucky winner but is not in possession of the ticket can still make a claim by contacting Camelot in writing. However, it’s crucial to note that such claims must be made within 30 days of the draw.
Andy Carter, the senior winners’ adviser at the National Lottery, expressed the organisation’s eagerness to find the mystery ticket holder and ensure they receive their life-changing winnings. He emphasised the transformative impact the prize could have on someone’s life, especially as summer begins.
Carter urged everyone who may have bought a ticket in the Stroud for the Set For Life draw to recheck their old tickets. The National Lottery app is the easiest way to do so. He also advised searching in common places where missing tickets could be hiding, such as pockets of clothing, wallets, bags, and even down the back of the sofa. The National Lottery has the champagne on ice, hoping that the fortunate winner will step forward and claim their well-deserved jackpot.
If the prize remains unclaimed, the funds, along with all the interest generated, will be allocated to National Lottery-funded projects, continuing to support various initiatives across the country.
The clock is ticking, and the suspense is building. Will the lucky ticket-holder come forward and seize their life-changing fortune? Only time will tell.
Remember, if you or someone you know purchased a Set For Life ticket in the Stroud area, it’s crucial to double-check those tickets and claim the prize before the deadline. This incredible windfall could be waiting for you!
