Among the highlights was the participation of Year 7 pupils, who extended invitations to staff members to adorn their hands with intricate Mehdi designs, a tradition they had perfected through practice sessions with friends and family.

The event, orchestrated by Caireen Young, Head of Art, and Laura Burchall, Head of Religion, Philosophy, and Ethics, received enthusiastic praise from everyone who attended. Caireen expressed her delight, stating, “It was great to be able to dedicate a day for staff and pupils to come together to celebrate our diverse range of cultures in our community as a whole for all staff and pupils.
