The Quality Care Commission (CQC) and Office of National Statistics (ONS) have now released figures of deaths in care homes that were registered up to April 25th.
According to these figures, 32 people have died within the Swindon care homes and were positive for Covid-19 whereas 113 deaths were recorded negative for the virus.
This news comes after the government announced they would be releasing the numbers of deaths outside of hospitals along with the daily hospital figure from today.
The figures also show four people died at home and tested positive in the same timeframe and a further 100 negative.
