A highchair for babies has been recalled because the legs can easily break off when a child is sitting in it.
Manufacturers are advising parents to stop using the Koo-di – Duo Wooden Highchair immediately.
The chair is currently on sale in Argos for £79.99 and on Amazon. It’s also sold in baby shop, JoJo Laman Bebe at full price for £129.
The plastic at the point where the back leg screws in to the base of the plastic seat can crack, causing the leg to break off.
There have been four reported incidents of it breaking, according to the manufacturers, but it’s not clear if any children were hurt.
The affected batches were sold between July 2017 and April 2018 and have the code KD430/02-3AH-SS.
You can find the code on the label on the bottom of the chair.
Customers who have one of the affect chairs should contact the manufacturers on 01384 298531 where a member of the team will talk you through how to do a simply check to see if your chair is faulty.
If it is faulty, they will provide more information on how you can get a refund or an exchange.
No other Koo-di Duo Wooden Highchairs are affected.
