The highly anticipated King Charles’ birthday flypast today will showcase a spectacular lineup of aircraft, including the renowned Red Arrows.
Joining the display will be iconic planes from the Battle of Britain Memorial Flight, featuring a memorial Spitfire, a Lancaster Bomber, and a Hawker Hurricane.
The Red Arrows, known for their breathtaking aerobatics, have already captivated audiences with two flypasts earlier this year, commemorating the King’s coronation and a recent event on June 10.
The flypast will traverse parts of Northern England and East Anglia before gracing the skies of London and proceeding over Berkshire, Hampshire, Surrey, and Dorset.
Swindonians can expect to catch a glimpse of the flypast as they head away from London around 1.20pm however at this time we cannot confirm exactly which of the aircraft will head this way.
The diverse roster of participating aircraft is nothing short of impressive. Alongside the Red Arrows, you can anticipate the presence of Juno HT1 x3, Wildcat HMA2 & Merlin HM2 x2, Wildcat Ah1 & Apache x4, Wildcat Ah1 & Merlin Mk4 x2, Chinook x3 & Puma HC2, Lancaster, Hurricane, Spitfire, Phenom T1 & Texan T1 x4, C-130J Hercules x3, C-17 Globemaster III, Voyager & A400M Atlas, Poseidon MRA1 & Typhoon x2, F-35B Lightning, Typhoon FGR4s, Envoy IV, and a squadron of nine Red Arrows.
