Kids invited to hop on board Swindon & Cricklade’s heritage railway this weekend for just £1

The UK has more than 120 heritage railways lines covering over 500 miles of track and run by around 22,000 volunteers.

One of these tracks, The Swindon and Cricklade Railway, was one of the first heritage railways to undertake the complete reconstruction of a standard-gauge railway with no legacy of track or buildings.

The Swindon & Cricklade Railway offers a round-trip passenger journey of approximately four and a half miles with trains running between Hayes Knoll and Taw Valley Halt, accessible from Mouldon Hill Country Park with free parking at the Blunsdon Stationand
