Enquiries into what is believed to have been a hit and run incident in County Road, Swindon, are still ongoing.
Officers were called to the scene by the ambulance service shortly after 9pm on 29 October after a woman was found in the road with serious injuries.
She was taken to Southmead Hospital in Bristol by ambulance.
Officers have been carrying out extensive enquiries into how the woman, aged in her 30s, sustained her injuries and have so far interviewed one man in relation to the incident.
A vehicle has also been seized for a forensic examination to be carried out.
No arrests have been made at this time and enquiries remain ongoing.
The victim’s injuries are not believed to be life threatening or life changing and she remains in hospital.
