You may see more police officers around Highworth Town Juniors Football Club as police react to an increase in criminal damage in the area.
A large group of around 15 youths have been leaving drug paraphernalia and smashed bottles of alcohol at the clubhouse.
PC Sam Walton said: “The increase in anti-social behaviour and criminal damage means the club has to pay for the clearing up – costing time and money.
“The group, which has also been caught on CCTV, is also showing no regard for the Covid rules – mixing with others from many households – putting them and their families at risk.
“We will be increasing our patrols to find the perpetrators and to prevent further damage.
“We would ask that any member of the public who sees or hears anything suspicious in this area to report it to us via 101 quoting crime reference number 54200094277.”
Alternatively, you can report anonymously via Crimestoppers on 0800 555 111.
