Swindon Borough Council has begun preparing for the next phase at Mannington Roundabout which will improve the traffic flow from Great Western Way into Wootton Bassett Road (by Fish Brothers).
To prepare the site for the new kerb they have started to relocate the SSE cables around the corner from Great Western Way to Wootton Bassett Road, which should be finished by next week.
After this, they will be moving the Vodafone cables along the same corner, which is expected to start on Monday 3 September for a further two weeks. These works are being carried out under lane closures during off-peak hours.
